4 Awesome Gadgets to Look out for in 2013

Technology seems to move so quickly these days that it’s difficult to keep up with what’s new. For many of us, it seems as if the moment we get a new phone, or computer, or any electronic gadget for that matter, it becomes outdated and outstripped by the latest and greatest gadget in its genre. This is why, instead of simply shopping for the hottest item on the shelves right now, it might be a good idea to look forward toward those high-tech gadgets set for release in 2013. Whether you plan on shopping at the nearest electronics shop, or browsing a site like MySmartBuy.com, there are lots of exciting options heading to store shelves and websites this year. Here are four that are particularly interesting.

1. Google’s Project Glass

Essentially a combination of eyeglasses and smart phone capability, Google’s Project Glass has been a source of rumours and speculation for quite some time, and could finally see release in 2013. The product involves the relay of messages, directions, and a few other online features on the lens of the glasses, and will also have photo and video recording capabilities that allow users to simply capture what they’re looking at, hands-free. Borderline futuristic, it is an exciting and innovative gadget.

2. Samsung Galaxy S IV

If indeed it is released in 2013, the Samsung Galaxy S IV could be a very significant gadget indeed. With the Galaxy S III representing the only real challenge to the iPhone 5 on the smart phone market, significant advances in a hypothetical Galaxy S IV could provide Samsung with a competitive boost. The main rumour concerning the specifications of the phone is that its screen could stretch to 5 inches, all with the highest resolution and pixel quality.

3. Xbox 720

A potential game changer in the gaming console market, the Xbox 720 is expected in mid to late 2013, and has been the source of much speculation. The main rumour on the Xbox 720 is that it will have blu-ray capabilities. However, other rumours include 3D gaming capability, live television recording, and 8GB RAM power. All in all, it seems that this will immediately become, by far, the most powerful and capable gaming console in existence.

4. Apple Television

Apple TV already exists – but it is merely a receiver box for television content. The rumour this year is about an actual television set from Apple. This is common speculation, but there seem to be stronger rumours that the product may actually be forthcoming in 2013. Incredible picture quality, a screen 45 inches or over, and a price exceeding $1500 are all expected.
